When drizzling over cookies, try sprinkling a pinch of flaky sea salt over the cookies. The salt offers a nice contrast to the sugar in the icing.
Ingredients List
- 2 Tb Butter
- 1 c Confectioner’s Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tb Chai Milk

Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir or agitate the pan occasionally. When the milk starts to separate and white milk particles rise to the top, whisk continuously until golden brown particles sit in the bottom of the pan. Remove from the heat and pour into a heat-safe container.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until combined.
Notes
- If you’d like a more fluid icing for a glaze or a drip, add 1 tsp at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
- It’s easier to add liquids later than powdered sugar. If you need to add powdered sugar, I recommend sifting it first.
